If a customer forgets their password or needs their username updated, you can change their credentials from the reseller panel. You can also reset their login information without knowing the current password.

### Changing Customer Credentials

1. Log in to **Plesk**.
2. Go to **Customers**.
3. Click the customer name to open their account.
4. Click **Change Login Info** in the right sidebar.
5. Update the following fields as needed:
   - **Username:** The Plesk login username.
   - **New password:** Set a new password (or click Generate).
   - **Email:** The contact email address.
6. Click **OK**.

### Important Notes

- The customer will need to use the new credentials the next time they log in.
- Changing the Plesk username does not affect the system username used for FTP/SSH.

### Troubleshooting

**Customer still cannot log in after changing credentials:** Suspend and re-activate their subscription. See [How to Suspend and Activate a Customer Account in Plesk](/hc/help/en/articles/how-to-suspend-and-activate-a-customer-account-in-plesk).

- Clear the customer browser cache and cookies.
- Ensure the customer account is active (not suspended).
