Setting expiration dates on subscriptions controls how long a customer has access to their hosting resources. When a subscription expires, Plesk automatically suspends it. This guide covers setting and managing expiration dates.

### Setting an Expiration Date

1. Log in to **Plesk**.
2. Go to **Subscriptions**.
3. Click the subscription name.
4. Click **Customize**.
5. Go to the **Resources** tab.
6. Find the **Validity period** field.
7. Select a specific date or choose **Unlimited** for no expiry.
8. Click **Update & Lock**.

### Renewing an Expired Subscription

1. Go to **Subscriptions**.
2. Click the expired subscription.
3. Click **Activate**.
4. Click **Customize** → set a new expiration date → **Update & Lock**.

### Important Notes

- Expired subscriptions are automatically suspended by Plesk.
- Activating an expired subscription without updating the expiry date will result in re-suspension the next day.

### Troubleshooting
